These standards cover aspects like biodiversity conservation, indigenous peoples’ rights, labor conditions, and climate change adaptation. The goal is to bridge the gap between knowledge and practice, making ESC standards a practical part of rural development projects. The initiative uses both in-person and online training methods to reach a wide audience across multiple countries.
