Martin Tull is a national leader in health and sustainability strategies, health systems transformation, and currently serves as Chief Impact Officer at the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM). In this role, he advances ACLM’s mission to prevent, treat, and often reverse chronic disease by leading the organization’s strategy, partnerships, resource mobilization, and impact initiatives. His work focuses on accelerating the collective impact of clinicians, institutions, and communities through the implementation of evidence-based lifestyle medicine.
With over a decade of leadership at ACLM, Martin has helped guide the organization’s rapid growth into a leading force in healthcare transformation. His efforts have supported the expansion of national training and certification programs, food as medicine strategies, clinical implementation initiatives, and led hundreds of cross-sector partnerships that align health outcomes with value-based care.
Prior to his work with ACLM, Martin served for decades in executive roles across the health, sustainability, and social impact sectors. He was the founding Executive Director of the Green Sports Alliance, where he built a global coalition of professional and collegiate sports teams committed to sustainability. He also served as a senior advisor to initiatives like The Game Changers documentary and led strategic projects for organizations including World Wildlife Fund, Friends of the Earth, and the USDA’s My Plate My Planet campaign.
Martin is a frequent speaker and facilitator, having presented at events hosted by the White House, Sustainable Brands, Clinton Global Initiative, and Sport Positive Summit. He has been recognized with honors, including GOOD Magazine’s “100 Pivotal Leaders,” Portland Business Journal’s “40 Under 40,” the Sustainable Business Oregon’s “15 People to Watch,” and, most recently, the ACLM President’s Award.
Throughout his career, Martin has championed innovative solutions at the intersection of public health, environmental resilience, and systems innovation. At ACLM, he continues this work by helping to redefine healthcare through the lens of lifestyle medicine, health equity, and evidence-based strategies to deeply improve health outcomes.
